And then I smiled

It was grey, and it was raining. A large cloud had been hanging over me for some time now. I had tried all my usual tricks; outings with friends, candle lit, bubbly baths, reading over loving notes from family and playing with the puppy, but nothing was shifting that fluffy looking demon above me.

The days passed and I got more and more bored of the rain, the misery, the malaise. Until one day the wind blew, and that wind blew away my cloud, and then I smiled, breathed deep and felt alive again for the first time in weeks.
